Israel’s planes have hit over 100 Hezbollah rocket launchers and “terrorist sites” in southern Lebanon

A place to store guns was also hit by the strikes.

Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency confirmed that Israel conducted at least 52 strikes in the south of the country on Thursday evening

Hezbollah, in retaliation, launched strikes on military sites in northern Israel. The immediate casualties from these exchanges remain unclear.

After blasts earlier in the week killed 37 and injured 3,000, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah accused Israel of breaking all red lines. Hassan Nasrallah called these actions a war declaration.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced a new phase of the war, focusing efforts on the northern front.

The IDF’s recent operations are among the most intense since the conflict with Gaza began in October last year.

A lot of people on both sides have had to leave their homes because of the fighting across the border, which has killed hundreds of Hezbollah rebels. The IDF tells people in northern Israel to stay away from big groups and bomb bunkers.
