Highlights of the Talent Round
The talent round was part of the top things that made this competition worth talking about as contestants showcased individual talents. For instance, Miss Alabama Abbie Stockard took to the contemporary dance form, which got her heaps of appreciation from the judges that made her Miss America 2025 by beating the challenges of winning a scholarship worth $50,000 tuition and traveling across United States as the brand ambassador. Miss Alaska Jordan Naylor was a true ballroom dancer and Miss Arizona Shailey Ringenbach showcased her lyrical dance. Miss Arkansas, Camille Cathey, stunned the crowd with her vocal performance, and Miss California, Kimberly Vernon, was a jazz dance performer.
Personal Growth and Talent Focus
The competition further had evening wear, fitness, and interview rounds, which had a focus on personal growth and talent rather than physical appearance. Swimsuit rounds were abolished in 2018, making the pageant more inclusive and focused on the contestants’ overall abilities and achievements.
Scholarships and Financial Support
The Miss America pageant has a history of more than eight decades, and during the last year alone, close to $5 million in scholarships was given out to young women. This year, over $300,000 in tuition scholarships was awarded to the finalists. The Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2025 also received a $50,000 tuition scholarship, which she could use at an accredited school of her choice or opt for a four-year scholarship to the University of Alabama.

It was not only about the beauty and talent competition; it was also about empowering young women and encouraging them to make a positive change in the communities where they belong.
