Charlotte, NC – As a sweet way to spread kindness, Krispy Kreme is giving away a free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts to the first 500 people who come into any participating store in the US on November 13, 2024. This special offer comes at the same time as World Kindness Day, a worldwide event that urges people to be kind and helpful.

Krispy Kreme’s “Message of Kindness”

The Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme, Dave Skena, discussed how little acts of kindness may have a major impact on people’s life. “World Kindness Day reminds us that everyone of us can positively influence others’ life, even with little gestures like distributing a sweet treat,” Skena tweeted. For every dozen Original Glazed doughnuts that are given away, the company hopes that many nice things will happen.

How to Participate in the Free Doughnut Promotion

People can get this deal if they go to a local Krispy Kreme store or drive-thru early on November 13. You don’t have to buy anything to get the offer; it’s first-come, first-served. There are Krispy Kreme sites in 40 countries, and many of them are also running deals for World Kindness Day.

Krispy Kreme’s History of Giving Back

It’s not the first time that Krispy Kreme has given away doughnuts on World Kindness Day. For a long time, the company has given back to the community through different campaigns and charity projects. Krispy Kreme gave away free Original Glazed doughnuts earlier this year to honor Random Acts of Kindness Day. In its “Be Sweet” Responsibility Report, the company says it wants to spread kindness by doing small things like giving away donuts or giving money to good causes.

Using Social Media to Spread Kindness

Krispy Kreme wants its customers to share posts about nice things they’ve done and tag @KrispyKreme and the word #KrispyKreme. The business wants these stories to make people want to be nice to each other in their own neighborhoods.

The Origin of World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day was established in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement as a means of promoting compassion and peace anywhere. Today is a lesson on how much tiny acts of kindness could change the life of other people.
