NFL Star Myles Garrett Shows Support for Girlfriend Chloe Kim at 2026 Winter Olympics
Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett traveled to Italy this week to support his girlfriend, Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim, as she competed in the women’s halfpipe event at the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
The NFL’s reigning Defensive Player of the Year was spotted on the sidelines during Kim’s qualification rounds on Wednesday, equipped with camera gear to capture her historic Olympic journey. Garrett hiked up the side of the halfpipe with his photography equipment to get the perfect shot as Kim defended her back-to-back Olympic titles.
Kim, who won gold medals in the halfpipe at the 2018 PyeongChang and 2022 Beijing Olympics, was attempting to become the first snowboarder ever to win three consecutive gold medals in the same event. She dominated the qualifiers with a score of 90.25, the highest of the day, despite recovering from a torn labrum in her left shoulder, which she had sustained just a month before the Games.

However, Kim’s three-peat dreams came to an end during the finals when 17-year-old South Korean athlete Gaon Choi, one of Kim’s proteges, claimed the gold medal. Kim finished with a silver medal, adding to her impressive Olympic collection.
Garrett, who set the NFL’s single-season sack record this year with 23 sacks, demonstrated his support uniquely – wearing a custom jacket featuring Kim’s likeness. The couple was photographed embracing after Kim’s runs, with Garrett offering comfort and encouragement throughout the competition.
Speaking about their relationship, Garrett emphasized the mutual support they provide each other. He noted that Kim had been a steady presence for him during the football season, regularly checking in on his emotional and physical well-being, and he wanted to reciprocate that support during her Olympic competition.
The couple, who have been romantically linked since May 2025, appeared to make their relationship official in November 2025 when they shared a kiss before a Browns game. Their presence at the Olympics has added them to the growing list of sports power couples.
Despite falling short of the historic three-peat, Kim remained gracious in defeat, celebrating Choi’s victory and her silver medal achievement. With Garrett by her side, the Olympic champion showed that having support from loved ones can be just as meaningful as standing on the top of the podium.
